An innovative, four-day intensive workshop in the Cotsakos College of Business at William Paterson University offers students an opportunity to learn about jobs in insurance, financial services and banking and meet industry leaders.
More than 70 students are registered for the free event to be held from August 3 to 6, 2015 on the University’s campus at 1600 Valley Road, in the cafeteria, in Wayne.
Siamack Shojai, dean, of the Cotsakos College of Business, developed the idea of the Crux of Industry Niche (COIN) Boot Camp to supplement the College’s existing experiential programs and expose students to various industry niches. This first boot camp will focus on banking, financial services, and insurance. “I am pleased to present so many talented leaders from these industries to share their expertise with both our students and faculty,” says Shojai.
The event is planned to offer motivated students access to the most recent ideas in the fields that they plan to pursue and to provide opportunity for networking within the industry.
